In the space of a couple of weeks Tom's Tap and Brewhouse has become the holder of two prestigious beer festival prizes. The Crewe based brewery made their mark at Chester Real Ale and Cider Festival, where Chester and South Clwyd CAMRA gave their "Dark Mild" joint first place. This was followed up at The Chorlton Beer Festival by winning ‘Overall Beer Of The Festival', in collaboration with Blackjack Brewery, with ‘Ey Up Treacle’ a ‘Foreign Extra Stout’.
